I love Ravelry for keeping track of my knitting projects, and all my quilting projects get mentioned (at some point) on my blog with Kara (FiveDegreesBetweenUs). My spinning, though, had no home until now. Until this blog.
For someone who's been spinning for ten years, I have remarkably little yarn to show for it. I have a lovely fiber stash, and I spun yarn to knit socks for my Dad, for a fellow knitter to knit a vest for herself on her retirement, and for a fiber-to-scarf exchange. I believe there's also some generic wool yarn sufficient for a sweater for Mum now tucked into the yarn stash, but I have kept very few records. (Oh, and I put some hand spun corriedale that was also my first hand-dyed yarn in a Ruana that I knit for my sister). See, I'm proving my point. I need to keep track of these things, like when I started spinning, where the fiber came from, what the fiber content is, how many plies, how many yards, etc...
